I'm still a beginner when it comes to Chinese but is it possible that there is a mistake in the ADS dictionary of PlecoDict (v1.0.3)?
If you type "shihou", there are 2 words that appear at the top of the list.
The "hou" character for one of them appears to be incorrect. The first one is shi2hou2 and the second one is shi2hou4. The first one (hou2) shows up as being "marquis" in the various other dictionaries. The second one (hou4) shows up with a definition related to time (definition: wait). This means that when I want to indicate "time," (for example: you3 shi*hou*), I should use the "shi2hou4" and not "shi2hou2" which someone told me doesn't exist.
Can someone who knows a lot more Chinese than I do (which shouldn't be difficult), tell me if I'm correct or incorrect that there is a mistake in the ADS dictionary?
