Entry List bug

About a week ago, the entry list disappeared from the screen on my Tungsten E and I can find no way to bring it back. It is not pushed over to one side and the Toggle Entry List command does not bring it back.

The 典symbol appears on the full screen lookup (dictionary without entry list). Tapping it toggles the screen to one with the 果symbol that displays a mirror image of the first line from the full screen lookup, sans the other listings.

Using the Toggle Entry List command correctly toggles to the single entry screen (including the up/down arrows), but there is also a bar on the bottom of the screen displaying the last 1.5 lines of the previous full screen lookup. Tapping either arrow will move to the next/prior entry, which displays correctly.

I deleted and reinstalled the plecodict.prc file on my Palm, but nothing changed. I also tried a soft reset. Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

First, try tap-holding on the entry list trigger and choose one of the options there (probably "Right" would be best). That might get it set back to where it's supposed to be.

If that doesn't work, download and install the free utility Filez (http://www.nosleep.net/) and use its "View Preferences" feature to delete all four of PlecoDict's preferences records.

If even that doesn't work, are you using any unusual third-party software on your Tungsten? Anything that patches or otherwise alters the functionality of Palm OS?

Purging the preference records solved the problem. Thanks for your usual lightning fast response, Mike. I think it is one of the major selling points of your software.
