This is a common problem caused by a bug in Windows Mobile's font handling system. We've managed to work around it in Pleco 2.0, in the meantime the best fix is to exit PlecoDict completely (using the Quit command in the Dict menu) before opening any other application - that will ensure that PlecoDict's fonts are unloaded and hence can't confuse Windows Mobile. If you accidentally open IE while Pleco is still running in the background, soft reset (reboot) your Axim by sticking the stylus tip in the reset hole (located next to the battery cover), then open IE without opening PlecoDict and the fonts should display correctly.
