Crashed Palm

My PalmOne Zire 31 crashed yesterday. When I restarted it, it no longer recognised the key for my PlecoDict. I assume I can sort this out with Pleco. But I wonder about all my flashcards. The ones created before I last synched with my computer will be backed up. But if I connect the Palm to my computer and synch it, will they automatically be restored? Or deleted?

Any guidance from anyone who has been through this before would be most appreciated.

They should automatically be restored, but it would probably still be a good idea to make a backup of them before you sync - to do this, simply go to your Palm Desktop backup folder (My Computer, C, Program Files, Palm, (your username), Backup) and copy the "PlecoDict Flashcards" and "PlecoDict User DB" files to a safe backup location (while also leaving copies of them in the Palm Desktop backup folder). If you see multiple versions of those files with different numbers after them, make sure to copy all of those versions.
