Consider Accrescent as a Delivery Method

Though restricted to Android 12 (and above), Accrescent supports unattended updates and does not require that the developer provide the APK signing key. If Pleco can be built as split APK, then Accrescent could provide an alternative, secure delivery method to Play Store.

This is interesting, but I'm a little reluctant to rely on a third party service for this when I don't have to - I am looking forward with great anticipation to the arrival of third-party app stores on iOS and considering whether Pleco itself being the 'store' might actually be a good model for both platforms.
