Can't install Placo-complete

I have a Dell Axim X3i and downloaded the Demo version of pccomplete103.exe. It said that it needed something like 43MB and my main memory only had something like 15 MB. It said that my storage card memory was Unavailable. I do have a fairly sizeable storage card in the PDA.

Can someone tell me what I did wrong?

Sometimes the Pocket PC installer system will (rather confusingly) list a card as "unavailable" when really it just doesn't know how much free space it has - if you select that card as the destination in spite of the "unavailable" warning, the software should install OK.

Thanks Mike. I tried main memory, to which the installer said there was not enough memory, did I want to proceed anyway, to which I said NO and it canceled the instalation. So, I am not in the middle of an instalation. I do find a Placo entry on my Start\Programs list. But the only executable there is Uninstall.

What should I do now?

Run the installer again (it's OK if you run it more than once), and this time, select the storage card as the destination - it shouldn't give you a low memory error even if it's listed as "unavailable".

Thanks Mike.
That seemed to work great. Good news and bad news.
Good news. I have lots of Pleco files on my PDA now.
On my Storage card it loaded 4 file folders.
- PlecoDict ABC Dictionary (with 1 file abc.pdb)
- PlecoDict Demo Font (with 1 file PlecoDemo.ttf)
- PlecoDict Engine (empty)
- PlecoDict Oxford E+C Dictionary (empty)
and 3 Cab files
- PlecoDict ABC Dictionary.cab
- PlecoDict Demo Font.cab
- PlecoDict Engine.cab

Under Program Files (I guess in main memory) I find the following files: NWP.pdb, OxCE.pdb, and OxEC.pdb, and PlecoHWR.dll

Bad news  : Clicking on neither of the two shortcuts which were placed among "programs" will execute anything.

Can you help me with this?
Thanks again.

Hmm... try this: soft reset your Pocket PC, then run PlecoDict again. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling just the "PlecoDict Engine" item in Start \ Settings \ Remove Programs, then reinstall only that using the PlecoDict installer program. If that doesn't get it working either, remove every PlecoDict item and start the install from the beginning.

Thanks Mike,
The soft reset, uninstalling the Engine and reinstall just the Engine took care of the problem. Thanks.
