Cangjie combinations?

Heya,

I was surprised to see that Cangjie combinations are not available natively in Pleco!

I ended up making a Cangjie Input Dictionary, which accounts for Versions 3 and 5 and shows Latin/Chinese characters, but it would be nice if this were available natively and attached to the headword in the same way Zhuyin is. The repository includes the combinations I took from it - generally it's quite accurate.

Cangjie is commonly used in Hong Kong, so it would be handy to see it be used with Pleco for users learning Cantonese. It is also useful for Literary Chinese given it is phonetically neutral and engages with the Han script on its own terms.

I understand this is not a very high priority as Cangjie is a bit of an Area 51 input method. Regardless, I hope this sees consideration!

Thank you for your time!

Thanks for posting this!

We don't currently support adding custom fields like this to definition headers but it's certainly something we could look at in the future - I think it would probably only be in the definition screen, though.

That is still wonderful! Thank you for the speedy reply, I am very interested in it! Should it happen, let me know and I will update my dict to work with it for sure!

If there is any chance there could be an add-on with the feature, I would love to see it available! Me and...whoever else uses it gazes at the small crowd
