Buy Basic bundle and Ipad/Iphone sync

Hi!
I am interested in buying the basic bundle on my Iphone. How does the educational discount work? I am an italian university student...
I have downloaded Pleco on both my iPhone and iPad but I am wondering, if I buy the add-on, it would be available only on one of them or I can use it on both devices? I read about syncro but I couldn't find information about this... as you can see I am no expert and I am kind of new in this all APP world.

Educational discounts are on the "honor system" - when you tap on "Buy" you're asked whether or not you're eligible for the student discount.

You could use it on all of the devices connected to that same iTunes account - buy it on one, then on the other device go into the Pleco "Add-ons" screen and tap "Restore iTunes Purchases."
