I noticed that if I am playing some music and switch to Pleco, the music stops playing for some reason (much like if you are playing music but switch to some other app that also produces sound). Any idea why that happens? Seems unexpected unless I am asking Pleco to pronounce a specific word? Thx.

I didn't have this happening on the second latest iOS version, music keeps playing as usual, even if pleco is playing sound itself.

Have you enabled background TTS for the reader, or are you doing an auto-play audio session in flashcards? How are 'disable audio session' and 'respect mute switch' configured in Settings / System & External?

@alanshi Another question on this one: are you using an 'auto-advance' flashcard test by any chance?

Hi Mike, sorry for some reason I didn't get notification of your response so I didn't see this. I noticed in the past week or so that the problem seems to have disappeared, so I imagine you figured it our (or maybe there was an iOS change?). I can check the settings I have on my iPad this evening if this is still useful information for you.
