I have a problem with Plecodict I want to ask about... Well, the problem lies with my PDA (a WM5 device) rather than Plecodict itself. The display of my PDA got broken somehow, I used it for some two months even with that malfunction (mainly because I was studying for the HSK) but I have decided that I should really repair it before the warranty expires. I don't know how long would it take here in China to repair my device, I am prepared for the worst case, that it could be 3 weeks or maybe even more. I would still need to use Pleco during these 3 weeks and I have another device available now. Should I generate a new keyfile using the engine on Pleco website and just switch to the old one after my device got repaired? Or is there a different method used in such cases?

Often a Pocket PC's Device ID will change when it's sent in for repair (because they update the ROM or replace part of the motherboard), so the old keyfile wouldn't necessarily work once you got your Pocket PC back. Not to worry, though, just send us an e-mail if that's the case and we'll reset your account so you can request another new keyfile.
