96-pixel font

I just purchased a 2GB SD memory card for my Treo 600 to replace the almost full 1GB SD memory card that I was already using.

Now that I have almost 950MB free on my 2 GB SD memory card after transferring everything from my old 1 GB SD memory card to my new 2 GB SD memory card, I want to put the add-in 96 pixel font add-in on my 2 SB SD memory card.

Do I delete my existing 48 pixel font from my SD memory card before putting the new 96 pixel font on it or do I keep both fonts on my new SD memory card?

Thanks

It would be best to keep both fonts on the card - the 48-pixel is still the only zoom font you can use in flashcards, the 96 is too big for that.

I copied the 96-pixel font to the appropriate directory on the SD card where my 48-pixel font is already located. When I tapped on the Chinese character that I wanted to magnify in PlecoDict, the same size (48-pixel) font was used on my screen. The size of the magnified character looked the same as what I was used to when I didn't have a copy of the 96-pixel font on my SD card.

Is there a toggle setting that I should check?

Before you ask, I did unzip the file before placing it on my SD memory card. :)

Oops, I didn't notice you were using a Treo 600. Unfortunately, the 96-pixel font only works on high-resolution devices; PlecoDict won't currently go larger than a 4x zoom ratio, so the biggest font you can use on your Treo is the 48-pixel one. (if we went any bigger, we'd have to put out a brobdingnagian 192-pixel font for high-resolution devices, and that would create some problems for our database system)

Thanks. Maybe you can mention on the add-in's webpage regarding the 96-pixel font that it won't work for Treo 600 users (just like what is already mentioned for the Windows PDA version).

Actually the description does say "high-resolution" already, but I'll put it in boldface so it's a bit more noticeable. Thanks.
