1.0.3 Released!

The official version 1.0.3 update is out now, so you can visit http://www.pleco.com/download.html to download it. Not too many changes from the preview versions, but the radical reverse lookup finally really does work on Pocket PC and we did fix a couple of minor glitches reported in the Palm preview version. An announcement e-mail will go out Real Soon Now.

I downloaded the "ppcomplete103.zip" version and I'm upgrading from PlecoDict v1.0.3p (complete version).

Do I just manually replace the version of PlecoDict.PRC on my SD memory card with the new version obtained from the ZIP file or is it necessary for me to replace all my existing files?

If this isn't the one I just installed, it will be installed in the next few minutes. And I pray that it works, because I'm going on a short vacation (4 days) with the goal of studying Chinese (and actually getting siome work done).

lmcjipo - yes, just replace PlecoDict.prc and that will update you to the latest version. All of the other files remain the same.

sfrrr - OK, hope it installs smoothly. One of the few actual improvements in WM5 over previous versions is that it seems to handle upgrades a little better - if you attempt to install a new version of a program, it helpfully removes all of the files that you're replacing.

Just to check in with good news. Everything works beautifully. And, yes, the installation was magically clean and quick. Now, as soon as I delete my three user dicts (no new ones have arrived), PD will be PERFECT.
