I just figured out how to fix it. Just restart the Pleco app then everything works just fine.

thank you for creating this. I use this along with Outlier dictionary. Very useful.
It may be only me… but it is only this particular CHR adding which seems to have this colour contrast?
In light mode- it’s light green? Not to sure if anyone has the same issue… thx

This is a very nice dictionary, it is exactly the way I have been learning the characters by breaking it down in radicals and make a story for easy remembering . Sometimes however get stuck, this give a lot of times inspiration for easy memorizing. The really difficult characters to memorize I just write it down a few times. Think both ways are good and useful, most important thing is that you recognize the character easily and quickly. Thanks for the dictionary’s

1. Chinese Radical Lookup (RAL)
You see that 栓 character has 3 radicals ⽊⼈⽟ in it, right?
So you can type mu ren yu or ren yu mu to search for that little one.
Another way is to go to the "homepage" marked by 偏旁 (piānpáng) headword and start browsing until you find that one character: ⽊ > ⽊⼈ > ⽊⼈⽟.

My stats show that, with 5 or fewer radicals, you can reach 95% of all modern Chinese characters (96% for simplified characters). So searching for them using radicals is similar to using Roman alphabets.

2. Chinese Character Component Dictionary (CHAR)
This one breaks characters down into components for you to see. Very simple.
Also include mnemonics for ~4000 characters thank to Reinaert Albrecht wonderful data at https://rtega.be/chmn/

3. Radical Name Dictionary (RAN)
This one lists all the common radicals you can find, and lists useful information for you, helping you to remember them better.

Why I don't put all this into one dictionary? First, it would be to big a file. Second, separating them gives it more options to use.

I succeeded in importing RAL, looks great!

However, I now have another question (of course…):

Your example of looking up 栓 with “mu ren yu” works great, but why doesn’t “mu ru wang” work? That would have been my guess for radicals, but I’m not that familiar with using radicals.
