Flashcards Search Not Working

Hi everyone.
I have bought the pleco flashcard add on. When I downloaded and installed the "Hello Chinese" set of flashcards, and I tried to search (text input) for specific words in those categories, I can't do it.

There is nowhere to type that keyword (the word that I am searching for in the "Hello Chinese" category).
If I click "search now", I am taken to a screen where it shows me all the Hello Chinese words.

Sorry, the UI is highly confusing (a case where we took an already pretty confusing Android 2.x UI we'd rushed together and ported it to the 4.0 Holo theme without rethinking it) but if you tap on “AND” that will add a second term where you can search by headword or reading in addition to category.

Also, if you put a ! in front of a search term in the regular dictionary search box, that will show words with a flashcard at the top.
