Tone practice not working for custom cards

I often like to use the tone practice test for my basic review to make sure I know my tones, but I noticed it is not working at all for custom sentences that are made into cards.

I've tried every setting I could, but it seems tone practice has a limit of four characters for cards? For instance '好久不见' can be practiced, but not '好久不见啊', it just won't show up in the test.

Is there any way to override this? Is there something I'm doing wrong?

It’s currently limited to 4 characters or less. This is getting fixed in 4.0, though.

Is there a beta out for Android that I could download that already has it implemented? Any current timeline for 4.0?

It's implemented in the current iOS beta but we don't currently have a beta for Android, or any timeline on that that we can share.
