I would just like to say that the recent improvements to the PLC dictionary are tremendous. The word definitions are far more precise and useful than before, and the addition of parts of speech and concise examples makes it much easier to think about the words in a context, which in turn makes them easier to remember. Much appreciated!
One question that I have is the use of the double slash // in words such as 离婚 the pinyin of which is now shown as li//hun (with tone marks). What do these slashes indicate?
