Statistics for currently set Card categories in Flashcard Test

The way I understand it I can look up statistics for either all cards or just one picked category (with all its sub-categories).
I'd like to be able to look up statistics for (in my humble opinion) the most relevant case: What I am learning right now i.e. all the card categories selected for test at present. Is there an easy way to do this I haven't discovered yes? If not I'd be glad if it could be implemented.
(Also nice would be if I could select any number of categories or subcategories.)
