pleco 3.1.4 flashcard transfer to recent iphone

pleco3.1.4 on older iPod touch (probably 3rd generation-6.1 .6)
How to transfer (voluminous ) flashcard hierarchies to
iPhone 6.
share files with other pleco seems not to work
(both on same WLAN)
Upload xml file?
Where to find flash backupyy...xx.pbq on Yosemite ?
<and what to do with it?

USB item (Gerät, probably ipod use to much power) deactivated while backup proceeds
Battery of iPOd touch is near the end of its life.

Hi ppvienna,

you could try backing up your flashcard database on the iPod touch, zipping it in the File Manager and e-mailing it to yourself. Then you can open the E-mail on the iPhone 6, open the attachment with Pleco, unzip it and Restore Flashcard database on the iPhone 6. If you already have flashcards in your iPhone 6's database, you can export them first to a text file, then re-import them afterwards.

(I am assuming that the newest Pleco automatically converts an older restored flashcard database to the newest format.)
