iOS 10

Not a huge update for our purposes. Biggest change is that there's now a built-in voice recognizer, which we've already tested + confirmed works for both Mandarin and Cantonese, so iOS will finally catch up with Android on that front. (even works offline on newer devices)

Also, apps can now have a widget available when you Force Touch their icon on the home screen, so the clipboard monitoring Today widget we were already working on can be made accessible there too. There's also some stuff with Spotlight and search contexts we're digging into (might be able to come up with a way to make Pleco work in "Define," though that's TBD) and clipboard sharing with macOS on the desktop (so we might be able to monitor that and look up words you copy on Mac on your iPhone screen, also TBD).

iMessage and Siri integration sadly won't do much for us - Siri integration only does a few set categories of app, of which dictionaries are not one, and iMessage is only on the composition end so there's not really a way we could use it to translate text for you.

watchOS 3 seems to have added support for touch gestures; there doesn't seem to be a way for an app to force it to use their new Chinese handwriting recognition keyboard, but we might theoretically be able to create our own via that. However it'll be a while before we can get around to actually testing it since we're knee deep in Pleco 4.0 stuff right now. Voice recognition at least should definitely be in that, though, as it's already working on test devices here.

Oh, there's also a built-in male (Mandarin) TTS voice, though accessing it requires something that may or may not be an undocumented hack.
