formatting "..."

some-what user dictionary related

how is ... formatted?!

In dictonary entries it appears as three interpuncts (is that even correct?!) but when copied it just seems to be a normal full-stop/period/whatever you want to call it

Paper dictionaries use interpuncts? or ellipsis?
Is pleco behind the scenes subscripting full-stops?! or what's going on?

I believe this is actually a Tuttle database issue, one which should be resolved the next time we update it. The only behind-the-scenes manipulation we do with ellipses is to convert three ...s to an ellipsis within our search engine so that you don't have to figure out how to enter an ellipsis on your keyboard.
