Feature request: markup in user dictionary

I am using the user dictionary to capture character names in the material I read.
A mark-up facility to achieve the following would be helpful.

1. Hyperlink to other words

2. Numbered lists (like those in the ABC/TL dictionary)

1) is already possible, through an unofficial and subject-to-change (but probably not going to in the near future) system; insert this character at the start of the link:



and this one at the end:



and the text between them will turn into a link.

For 2), there's not even unofficial support for that yet but you can boldface numbers with this start code:



and this end code:



and use this code in place of a newline:



to achieve the same formatting effect.

For 2., you could also do it manually with Unicode characters/symbols:
