I have a few hundred Chinese contacts in my Treo phonebook, and it's starting to be a pain to find them all. Although CJKOS keeps them in alphabetical order, it keeps them seperate from the english entries, making it impossible to draw them up by just typing in the first few letters (which you can do in English).
I tried a third party contact software, but it was no better at this.
Has anyone come up with a better way?
I really dig the treo, but I think its biggest shortcoming is their utter failure to localize the phone. Though CJKOS does a decent job, the fact that there's only this one third party provider, as opposed to in-house people, working on the issue means there are sure to be a lot of little headaches when it comes to Chinese use.
So what are some other Chinese related headaches you guys have come across? Any cool shortcuts, patches or softwares?
