Setting this up so beta testers have an easy way to keep track of when a new version is ready; I'll post a message here every time there's a new Android beta, so just subscribe to this topic and you'll be notified as soon as one's released.

UPDATE: Keeping it for official releases too (at least for a little while) since it's a useful thing and a lot of people have already subscribed to it.

And that beta was just updated to Beta 2a, so if you downloaded it before this message was posted please do so again.

Not a new beta (though that's coming very soon), but you can download an updated version of CC-CEDICT (copy it into your PlecoData folder) at this link. Also, we're now offering the free Chinese-French CFDICT at this link - again, copy it into your PlecoData folder. (and let us know what you think, nobody here speaks French)

NOTE: you want to copy the .pdb file inside of this download archive to PlecoData, not the archive itself.

Beta 3(b) was just released, fixing crashing bugs in flashcard import and batch and in OCR on some devices running Android 2.2, and restoring our old way of calculating orientations in OCR until we can come up with a new one that won't make things worse for anyone. (probably some sort of "screen orientation wizard" since devices report it unreliably)

iOS to Android license transfers now available at http://www.pleco.com/orders.html - "Register" your purchase on that page, "Verify" it by going into the "Add-ons" tab on your iDevice and tapping "Restore iTunes Purchases," then click on the button to do the actual transfer. (you can keep using it on iOS too if you bought on iOS originally)

Official version now released; not many changes from Beta 9, but no expiration date. Also includes our new "free handwriting if you download before June 30th" promotion. (anybody who paid for the Android handwriting add-on - or one of the bundles that included it - during the beta should have already received an email about a refund; PM or email me if you didn't get that email) Get it from http://pleco.com/getandroid as before, or download it from Android Market by searching for "Pleco."

(see this post for a change list, though it's pretty short, or this one for instructions on how to switch from the non-Market to the Market version)

Minor update 2.3.1 posted - details here. Primarily fixes an Android Market crashing bug but a few other little bug fixes too.
