Hi agewisdom,

thanks for the compliment, I think I was mistaken. I didn't read the entire thread, so my simple instructions were not even what was needed. Sorry about that.

Cheers,

Shun

No worries, Shun. I'm sure the instructions would be helpful to @mdlevis in case he can't wait for the revised PQB file from pdwalker.

ok, ok! I can take a hint. No more procrastination.

Attached are two files, the raw text file used as the source for all this (suitable for importing into your pleco installation for flash cards) and a premade user dictionary file.

I've kept the traditional characters (which is where my previous attempt was lacking - I was missing some of the traditional characters) and included all the text from the http://chinesenotes.com/ref_measure_words.htm website and I've converted the accented characters into tone numbers for accuracy.

Also, I noticed that there were two measure words that were not on the website, but were in the original text file that @christoph55 included. Those are:
次 ci4 occurance / time
簇 cu4 pile / cluster / bunch

Feel free to posts any additions you have, or measure words that I've overlooked, or corrections you may have found.

During the cleanup of the text file, I did some mass edits for the tone markers and I may have made a bad edit. I don't think so, but I didn't look too carefully at the end result because I never make mistakes, right...?

Have fun.

Haha... didn't mean to give you any pressure :)
I'm sure you'll have the thanks and gratitude of many users out there that are interested in the PQB file. I'm sure it's hard work to edit and improve upon the raw files from the Internet.

I'll include this in my compilation post with full credits to you and @cristoph55.

Thanks once again :D

[edit] files updated. 4 entries with incorrect tone marks fixed.

Wait a moment before you use these files. I found 4 mistakes that I am correcting now.
