Once in a while I'm unsure of a character's stroke order - usually a stroke in the "middle" of the order (e.g., an 18 stroke character for which I immediately know the order for the first 14 strokes, but I am unsure which stroke is #15, etc.)
It would nice to be able to tap a given stroke in the diagram and have all the strokes (up to and including the one I tapped) filled in. For example, if I tap stroke #14 in the diagram, strokes 1-14 are filled in, and pressing next/play will advance the diagram starting on stroke #15. This would save me having to tap 14 times in order to see which stroke is #15.
