PDA reviews

I thought that I would start a thread where people could review their PDAs where they could describe their likes and dislikes about their PDAs since it isn't possible for Mike to know about all PDAs and their interactions with PlecoDict.

GSM PalmOS Treo 650

Treo 650

Like:
-Integrated Phone with speakphone and PalmOS PDA
-User Removable/Swapable rechargable battery
-320x320 high resolution 64K color screen
-Bluetooth
-GPRS/Edge

Dislike:
-Soft/Hard Resetting Treo 650 requires removing the battery cover (which is a very stupid design in my opinion).
-Between the Treo 600 and the Treo 650, the Treo 650 is more unstable (resets randomly more often) but I still consider it to be "stable" when I don't run too many background applications.
-Phone button cannot be programmed for another application (unlike on Treo 600)
-Requires special adaptor to listen to MP3's

General Info:
PalmOS v5.4.8
Memory: 22,774K
Integrated QWERTY keypad

I find the memory to be the most limiting issue/factor on the Treo 650.

PlecoDict v1.0.3 works great on the Treo 650. The Chinese characters are very easy to read and I've hardly ever received any PlecoDict crashes when I use it on my Treo 650 (if I exit all my less stable background applications).

For anyone looking for an all-in-one device (640x480 camera, bluetooth, PalmOS PDA, and phone), I have no problems recommending the Treo 650 (other than the negative points that I already mentioned).

Another negative point is that it doesn't support WiFi (802.11).
