Dictionary Look-Up for ㄙ

I am trying to create a flash card for the radical ㄙ.

When I look up this character in the dictionary, I can't find it. Many, many other characters return from the look up, but none of them is ㄙ and most of them don't even seem to use this radical.

What am I doing wrong?

I suppose the answer is yet another nuance of Chinese that I don't know about. Sorry if this isn't a software question.

Thank you.

Assuming that you just copy-and-pasted this, it looks like you actually entered the Zhuyin / BoPoMoFo character for the syllable "si" rather than the radical character (厶, U+53B6, or ⼛, U+2F1B as a radical specifically).

They all look identical, but it's a distinction that we need to respect since anybody using a Zhuyin keyboard (or pasting in Zhuyin text from somewhere) is going to want this to match "si". Though a well-designed Chinese font should probably make an effort to distinguish between these more clearly.
