I like the new Reader with its Search capability, but one thing I am still missing is the ability to annotate and mark text. The marker would be one of five or so transparent colors, the annotation could look like a collapsible text box. The data for it could be saved alongside the text/EPUB/PDF file, so that the original file remains untouched. One app whose marking capabilities are quite well developed is called "PDF Expert".
This feature would be especially useful with long books, where marking passages is just almost mandatory.
I cannot easily move to another app for this because of Pleco's dictionary definitions and flashcard system. Could such a capability be envisaged for Pleco sometime in the future?
