3.0 New Dictionary Bug Report / Feedback Thread

The 三K党 entry is in ABC, GF and CC. Although in ABC & GF the pinyin appears as dang3, the 党 character appears as though it were in qingsheng (see screenshot).

P.S.: how come the "K" in CC is using a different font? It is because we used to use fullwidth letters in such entries? (we have changed those to halfwidth quite some time ago, though).

That one's our doing, actually - we made that fullwidth change in CC recently and will shortly be making it in those other dictionaries too, essentially because we needed a way to differentiate between a letter in a headword and the exact same letter in the Pinyin band in cases like this. (our CC conversion script is nicely automated now - most of the time it takes 5 minutes, occasionally it takes 20 or 30 if you make a change that confuses it - but rather complicated: 1000 lines of Perl and about 300 set changes to various entries in a diff file)

If you expand the selection it should recognize it; this looks like a bug related to our recent addition of tone coloring to those 'variant' links.
