Re-importing User Dictionary and Radicals Dictionary

Hi!
I have a new iPhone 6 and I downloaded all the stuff (fonts, dictionaries, flashcard modules, aso) from the store and got all my flashcards back from (I guess) iCloud. Now, I realize that I miss two dictionaries: my used dictionary and the radicals dictionary which I may have edited over time.
I have a good backup of my previous iPhone, in case that helps, stored in iTunes. So my question is: how can I get back those two dictionaries?
Thanks for your help :)

I'm afraid the only way to restore items from an iTunes backup is to wipe your phone - Apple's backup restoration system only works with a newly reset phone. But if you restore from that backup you should then get your user dictionaries back.

I thought so, so how about this:
- backup the iphone in its present state,
- then reimport the previous iphone backup that contains the missing user dictionary
- export that dictionary to a safe place
- reinstall the iphone in its present state
- import the dictionary into pleco.
Would that work?
Thanks

one more question though (I feel like Columbo!)
my user dictionary is in .txt and when I go in: Manage Dicts/Add User, it does not see it. It wants .qpb files. How can I change my user dictionary from a .txt into a .qpb then?
Cheers

Create a new user dictionary instead of loading an existing one, then tap on that new dictionary and tap on the "Import" command to import entries into it from that text file.
