Another dictionary?

I meant, assuming they make their advertised Nov 2014 publication date, how long after that? A matter of months, half year?

Just received the data files for this today, so hopefully we'll have it ready in the not-too-distant future.

Awesome! Still waiting on the hard copy -- I guess the publication date slipped back a few months -- but a Plecofied version would be at least as good.

Submitting a beta of it to Apple today, I think - we'll keep chipping away at it in the meantime (unlike with apps, with an in-app purchase they only have to approve it once so the version they approve doesn't have to match the version we release), but if we want it on sale before Christmas we have to get in their pipeline now.

Out now in Add-ons (under Dictionaries / Specialized on iOS), introduction + symbol guide here.
Many, many thanks for this Mike! I hadn't read the forums in a long time, had a copy of this on backorder, but was very surprised and pleased to see you already had it licensed, and now delivered! I downloaded this Xmas present to myself this morning.

I love this dictionary! It's a "字典", however there are many binomial item definitions included in the dictionary. A feature that would be really helpful is that rather than, for example, seeing "典" and then search that entry for "典設" (which may or may not be there) when "典設" appears in text in the reader, it would be great if the reader could match "典設" (the binomial unit) but show the definition for "典" just because the definition contains "典設". Does that make sense?

BTW, I notice that "設" shows up in the dictionary without a tone marker for SCM, also "奢", "舎",and others. I don't have the paper copy to check and see what it has in it.

Yes, derivative searches within entries are something we're working on in general for other dictionaries too.

This 設 issue looks like it's a bug in the data files we received from the publisher (but not in the original dictionary) - thanks, we'll address that shortly.

That will be very helpful. Thanks as always!
